Schedule:

September 20 (Noon-2:00 pm CT)

Janette Dragvold

Location:

This is an online class hosted on Zoom.

In this beginner-friendly class, we will make 6-8" potato lefse rounds on the stove top with basic kitchen equipment. We will then use the lefse rounds in one traditional sweet recipe and one non-traditional savory recipe. This versatile Norwegian flatbread is a great addition to every meal!

Supplies:

Recipes will be sent to you approximately one week prior to class. Students will need to provide ingredients for the recipes. Students also will need to provide a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.

This Vesterheim cooking class is designed as a small-group cook-along and we invite exchange between the instructor and students in order to build community around food traditions. In this same spirit of sharing, we invite the whole family to experience this collaborative cooking and learning process. Only one registration is needed per household.
