Description
Nothing says “country” more than a braided rug. Making a braided rug that requires no sewing once the braiding is done makes this technique even more attractive. It is also a great way to recycle, reuse and repurpose old cloth or clothing which is no longer being used. No need to precut fabric strips (this will be done in class). Students will make a few rows of braids and then finish their rug outside of class time.
