Diane Edwards: Setesdal Style Tray

This was a Past/Present/Future exhibit piece.
Artist Statement:
My tray was inspired by the long fern-like drops in the Setesdal style. I like to see the grain and the glow of the wood and not cover it up. This style lends itself to the shape of the tray, which was made in Denmark. I love the flowing lines of the tray and painted it to enhance the shape.

Materials: oil on teak wood
