The MoraKniv 120 Sloyd Knife is a versatile and ergonomically comfortable carving knife for wood carving, whittling, and sloyd work. The knife’s 60mm-long laminated steel blade is a little shorter than that of the MoraKniv 106, which has an 80mm long blade. This may make the 120 more suitable for smaller hands or carvers intimidated by the longer knife.

The 120 knife’s blade is made of laminated high carbon steel, with a core that is hardened to 59-60 HRC, and is surrounded by a softer alloyed steel layer. This steel is hot rolled, which results in a strong material but one that has a rougher surface finish, and some variation in color of the blade surface that does not affect its performance. The oiled birch wood handle is designed for comfort and quality of grip.
