Dalarna Baby Blanket by Kerstin Landström Design

A baby blanket made of soft, organic lambswool is the perfect gift for a newborn or as a christening gift. Since a wool blanket is warm even if it gets a little wet, the blanket is just as suitable outside in the stroller as inside on the floor or in the bed.

This blanket is inspired by Dala horses, kurbits, and the costume ribbons that are found on many of Dalarna's beautiful folk costumes – a cultural heritage that is important for all of Sweden.

The blanket is made from New Zealand wool from breeders who are licensed in accordance with Wool Integrity NZ™. The wool comes from sheep that have been treated well and are not subject to mulesing. The breeding takes place with consideration for both animals and nature. The blanket is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified – tested for over 100 harmful substances and meeting high requirements for health safety.
