Description
Join Vesterheim for a continuing course in the Norwegian language! We will explore a variety of vocabulary and grammar topics including, but not limited to, what interests us about Norway, the various methods we use to learn a language, outdoor life in Norway, and clothing! The weekly class meetings will happen on Zoom for an active, conversation-based hour. One enrollment gets you signed up for all eight Zoom sessions. If you like, you'll get activities to extend your learning between class meetings. Bli med oss! (Come join us!)
Prerequisites
Students must have taken Level 1 Norwegian Language or have comparable Norwegian language experience. Please don't hesitate to email folkartschool@vesterheim.org with any questions!
Supplies
For this class you will need to purchase your own textbook: Sett i gang Vol. 1 by Nancy Aarsvold, Kari Lie Dorer, ISBN: 9798387283505 (3rd edition).
Additional Supplies
Students will need to provide a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.

When registering for the class, please make sure to use the mailing and email addresses you'd like the Zoom meeting invitations sent to. You will receive links to the Zoom sessions by email sometime during the week prior to the class.
