Schedule:
March 14-15 (9:00 am-Noon CT)
Instructor:
Lise Lorentzen
Location:
This is an online class hosted on Zoom.
Build your rosemaling skills as you explore the graceful scrolls and floral forms of the Gudbrandsdal style, which mimics acanthus carving. Step-by-step instruction will guide you in balancing asymmetrical designs while developing brush control and smooth, confident linework.
Prerequisites:
Completion of Introduction to the Basic Strokes of Rosemaling course in any style (or a comparable course).

A complete kit of materials shipped to your home (a $55 value) containing paints, brushes, boards, and more is included in the cost of registration.
You'll also need a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.
If you are registering for this class in a location outside the United States, you will need to provide your own supplies. Please contact folkartschool@vesterheim.org when you register for more information about what materials are required for this class.
