Location:
Join us for a knitting class inspired by the legacy of Albertina Dickson, a skilled tailor and beloved community member known as "Granny." In the 1940s, Albertina knitted a mitten that now resides in the Pope County Museum in Minnesota, embodying the rich Nordic knitting traditions she upheld.
In this class, you'll knit a set of mittens inspired by Albertina's work, learning techniques and patterns that reflect her craftsmanship. Celebrate Albertina's life and legacy through this special tribute project, and create your own piece steeped in history and tradition.
