Wood turner Robert Christman works primarily with Ash and Elm species of hardwoods, producing pieces inspired by the simple and clean lines of Scandinavian design that reveal and preserve the natural beauty of these woods. All of his wood is locally sourced. Robert uses only trees that have succumbed to invasive species, which he harvests himself locally from a small woodlot near Bluffton, Iowa.
