Description
Kristian Bugge & WB Reid are coming to Vesterheim for an unforgettable live experience with humor and stories from their many years on the road!
Despite growing up and living on each side of the Atlantic Ocean, WB Reid and Kristian Bugge have known of and followed each other’s music for years while they’ve met at jam sessions and festivals around the Pacific Northwest. They played together for the first time in the fall of 2025 and decided it would be fun to go on the road together!
The program will focus on tunes from the rich, Danish fiddle repertoire, spiced up with a few songs in Danish and English. Expect everything from wild polkas and groovy jigs to lyrical waltzes, fiery reels, and happy hopsas. Plus, they will play the exotic “Sønderhoning” dance tunes from the famous, Danish Island of Fanø.
