2025-09-10-Making Creative Kolrosing Tools and Using Them (In-Person)

This is an in-person class held at Vesterheim Folk Art School.
The first two days of the class will be spent making kolrosing tools. The instructor will make a variety of tools for stippling and shading, and students will learn to make these tools and design their own. Students will also be making a kolrosing knife or knives.
The next three days will be filled with fun instruction on creativity and skill development. Plus, the instructor made three beautiful projects to help students develop creative kolrosing skills.
Students will be kolrosing a spoon, spatula, and a shrink box/pot.
Level of Instruction:
Hand dexterity will be needed for the knifemaking.
Supplies:
The instructor will supply the blades, needles, handle material, and all other supplies for making the tools. The instructor will be providing most of the supplies for kolrosing.
There will be a materials fee for this class, and a supply list will be sent out closer to the class.
