2025-04-03 – Fiber Arts Klubb (In-Person)

This is an in-person class held at Vesterheim Folk Art School.
Young students will enjoy starting their fiber arts journey at Vesterheim! Participants will be introduced to the unique properties of natural fibers, as well as how they are used in traditional handcraft such as felting, knotwork, crochet, knitting, and weaving. These valuable skills can be taken with them wherever they go. An after-school snack will be provided.
Level of Instruction:
This program is designed for beginners, ages 10-18.
Supplies:
Please bring a water bottle and, if your child has special dietary needs, please consider packing their own snack.
Additional Information:
Fiber Arts Klubb will begin each class at Vesterheim's Bruening Folk Art School Welcome Center in the Westby-Torgerson Education Center at the corner of Mechanic and Water Streets. A Folk Art School staff member will be there to greet students as they arrive. Vesterheim Folk Art School does not provide a walking school bus for Fiber Arts Klubb. Parents are welcome to independently coordinate students to meet and walk to Vesterheim together.
