$0.00

Schedule:

February 23 (1:00-2:00 pm CT)

Instructor:

Angharad Thomas

Location:

This is an online webinar hosted on Zoom.

Join us for Vesterheim's series of cross-cultural webinars exploring stranded colorwork in knitting from multiple cultural perspectives. Cultural Connections: Stranded Colorwork in Knitted UK Gloves is the second in the series and is led by Dr. Angharad Thomas, an author, researcher, and knitter from the UK.

The cross-cultural series webinars will foster perspective about the way Norwegian and Scandinavian handcrafts are part of a global community. We are excited about these programs and hope they create a forum for discussion around cultural practice and offer a platform for cultural exchange. The connections we make will help spread awareness of the folk art traditions we explore at Vesterheim. Join us as we learn together!

Additional Supplies:

Students will need to provide a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.
