Description
Use hammer and fire to create one-of-a-kind forged kitchen utensils! Students will explore the world of steel and copper to make steak flippers, spatulas, ladles, and BBQ forks ready for any cooking adventure. No experience necessary. We will start with safety and cover all the basics of blacksmithing. Come with ideas or let inspiration strike when you walk into the forge!

Supplies
Students will pay a fee directly to the course instructor for the following materials:
- Steel $10 (Estimated)
- Copper $15 (one pre-formed copper ladle bowl that students will texture)
- Consumables $3 (Rivets, copper cleaner, drill bits, Scotchbrite …etc)
Additional Supplies
Please wear closed toe shoes and cotton-fiber clothing with long sleeves and long pants.
