Vesterheim Magazine Vol. 24, No. 1 – Making Meaning

Vesterheim is published twice a year, featuring in-depth articles focusing on the museum's priceless collections of artifacts, Norwegian-American history and culture, and up-to-date information on all museum events, classes, tours, and education opportunities.

This issue's theme is "Making Meaning: Norse Symbols and Myths" and it features an article by Sharon Rossman, "Norse Mythology and the Storytelling of Dag Rossman." Dag Rossman was a zoologist who gave storytelling presentations and co-curated an exhibit for Vesterheim before his passing in 2015. 

This issue also includes an article by Vesterheim instructor and jewelry artist, Liz Bucheit, "Silver Speaks: Magic, Myth, and Folklore," and "In the Name of Peace: A Chapel is Born" by Rosemary Davis.
