Dalarna Blanket by Kerstin Landström Design

This blanket is inspired by Dala horses, kurbits, and the costume ribbons found on Dalarna's beautiful folk costumes. The Dala horse has been around since the 17th century and is the most common symbol of Sweden and Swedish peasant culture. Kurbits painting emerged in Dalarna in the late 18th century and was common on both furniture and walls.

The blanket is made from New Zealand wool from breeders who are licensed in accordance with Wool Integrity NZ™. The wool comes from sheep that have been treated well and are not subject to mulesing. The breeding takes place with consideration for both animals and nature. The blanket is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified – tested for over 100 harmful substances and meeting high requirements for health safety.
