Description
Join instructor Paul Nyborg for a weekend of forging in which you will make your very own unique decorative door handle for the handleless door in your life. This class is open to all skill levels, and you will have the chance to learn skills that can be applied to any future forging project.
While forging your door handle, you will learn fundamental techniques such as drawing out, tapering, hot cutting, and detailed file work. It is a great opportunity to create something for your home that is both functional and beautiful, all while improving your forging skills.
Supplies
- Hot Cut Chisel
- Favorite Hammer 2-4 LBS
- Round file or or flat file-optional
Material fee of $50 for metal and consumables
