Class Details
- Schedule: November 12-15 (9:00-5:00 pm CT)
- Location: This is an in-person class held at Vesterheim Folk Art School.
-
Instructor: Becky Lusk
- Level of Instruction: intermediate to advanced
Description
In June 2025, Becky traveled to Norway through Vesterheim's Study In Norway Program. She continued her study of Lars Kinsarvik, focusing on his painted Dragonstyle furniture. Working in a larger scale, he reimagined designs from the Viking Era. He also drew from his love of Norwegian folklore, interspersing nisser, trolls, and other figures into his designs. The class project will be a door crown incorporating some of these elements.
