This is an in-person class held at Vesterheim Folk Art School.
Join basketmaker Kimberly Crowley as she teaches the methods of creating a basket from black ash splints—an increasingly scarce material harvested by local Ho-Chunk makers. Come join us at Vesterheim to learn this culturally important craft. Participants will leave with a small basket.
Level of Instruction:
Open to all levels.
Materials & Supplies:
All of the tools and supplies needed will be provided by the instructor.
Please note: There will be a $50 materials fee paid directly to the instructor.
