2024-06-01 – Continuing the Basic Strokes of Rosemaling: Hallingdal Style (Online)

This is an online class hosted on Zoom. 

If you have already tackled one of the Introduction to Basic Strokes of Rosemaling classes, we welcome you back with fun sessions to continue your journey and learn basic stroke work with a new pattern and project! Join us for more S and C scroll painting. Keep on dipping your brush in the paint and toe in the waters with other rosemalers. Develop your technique further and meet new friends. The class will include demonstrations and plenty of hands-on practice. 

This class will be taught in acrylics.

Supplies: 

A complete kit of supplies (a $60 value) including a wooden plaque, paints and medium, brushes, sandpaper, palette knife, a sweet treat from Vesterheim, and more is included in the cost of enrollment. The class will be taught using acrylic paint. You'll also need a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.

If you are registering for this class in a location outside the United States, you will need to provide your own supplies. Please contact folkartschool@vesterheim.org when you register for more information about what materials are required for this class.

Prerequisites: 

This class is for students who have completed either the Telemark or Hallingdal style Introduction to the Basic Strokes of Rosemaling class.
