This is an online class hosted on Zoom. 

Hoping to travel to Norway someday? Want to connect with Norwegian friends or family in their native language? We've got you covered! Start your Norwegian-language learning or refresh stale language skills with Norwegian Instructor Nick Rogness. During the eight-week session, we'll cover the basics of grammar and vocabulary to get you ready to connect with other Norwegian speakers. If you like, you’ll get activities to extend your learning between class meetings.

Enrollment also includes a class workbook and a study treat ($20 value). Students need to provide a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.

If you are registering for this class in a location outside the United States, you will need to provide your own supplies. Please contact folkartschool@vesterheim.org when you register for more information about what materials are required for this class.

When registering for the class, please make sure to use the mailing and email addresses you'd like the kit and Zoom meeting invitations sent to. You will receive links to the Zoom sessions by email sometime during the week prior to the class. If this class is a gift, please sign up with the recipient's addresses or be prepared to forward the kit and all communications.
