Landscape Photography by Bill Wild - Geirangerfjord and Geiranger
Enjoy the scenery of Norway in your own home or office with landscape photography by Bill Wild. This fjord in the Sunnmøre region of Mre og Romsdal county, Norway, is surrounded by some of the steepest mountains on the entire west coast. The small village of Geiranger is located at the end of the fjord where the Geirangelva river empties into it.
William (Bill) Wild grew up in Iowa. After moving to the Chicago area Bill worked for a conventional photography studio and a public relations photography studio. Bill truly wanted to do commercial photography, so he and his wife Kathi, started their own studio in Northbrook, Illinois. His clients included the Irish Tourism Bureau, Motorola, Mercedes Benz, and Illinois Central Railroad. Bill and Kathi retired to Decorah, Iowa, after owning and operating the studio for 30 years. They now enjoy traveling the world, including to Norway, looking for adventure and photo opportunities.
