2023-03-03 – Cozy Cocktails for Cold Weather (Online)
Friday, March 3 (7:00-8:00 pm CT)
This is an online class hosted on Zoom.
An important part of Nordic culture is the willingness to embrace the cold, dark winter. In this class, we focus on hot beverages and the power they have to get us feeling koselig, or "cozy." You'll learn some new recipes while also developing the skills to create your own unique hot toddy. Take your warm cocktail outside and embrace the Norwegian concept of friluftsliv, or getting outdoors. Skål!
Vesterheim’s Nordic Cooking programs are supported in part by a generous gift to the Vesterheim Annual Fund from the Oneota Community Food Co-op.
Recipes will be sent to you approximately one week prior to class. Students will need to provide ingredients for the recipes, a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.
If you are registering for this class in a location outside the United States, you will need to provide your own supplies. Please contact email@example.com when you register for more information about what materials are required for this class.
When registering for the class, please make sure to use the email address you'd like the Zoom meeting invitations sent to. You will receive links to the Zoom sessions by email sometime during the week prior to the class. If this class is a gift, please sign up with the recipient's email address or be prepared to forward all communications.
