44480
$120.00
A shrink box, also called a shrink pot, is made by cutting a section of a green (not dried) branch and hollowing out the interior. A groove is then cut into the interior of the box close to the bottom. A dried piece of wood is cut to fit loosely into the groove. The cylinder then dries and shrinks around the bottom piece of wood locking it tightly into place.
Hand-crafted by Kim Glock, Vesterheim Gold Medalist.
