Art in Heritage Park
Join Artist, Lauren Bonney, for a fun Art in Heritage Park event, where Lauren will talk about her design and painting process for the "Together in Decorah" mural she completed last year. Participants will explore storytelling through art while sharing their own family stories in chalk throughout Heritage Park.
Grab your family and join us each month from 11-Noon for an hour of Friluftsliv Fun! Friluftsliv is a Nordic concept meaning living a full life outdoors. Each month we will explore nature in Heritage Park and nearby trails through walks, observations, and hands-on activities all outdoors! Pre-registration is required to assure we have the right materials for each fun event. The family activities are geared toward families with children ages under the age of 10 and we require at least one adult to be present for each registered family. Cost $5/family paid at registration.
If you have additional questions, please contact the Folk Art School, at email@example.com or call 563-382-9681.
This event is part of the Vesterheim Familie Frilufstliv Fun! series:
This is an in-person class held at Vesterheim in Heritage Park.
Remember the Nordic philosophy: "There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. Dress for fun outside!"
