This is an online class hosted on Zoom. 


Transform your kitchen into a Swedish bakery for an afternoon! Join Kristi as she walks you step-by-step through her recipe for traditional cardamom buns (kardamummabollar). Kristi recently visited Stockholm and brought back all of the tips and tricks you need for making the perfect batch of cardamom buns at home.

This Vesterheim cooking class is designed as a small-group cook-along, and we invite exchange between the instructor and students in order to build community around food traditions. In this same spirit of sharing, we invite the whole family to experience this collaborative cooking and learning process. Only one registration is needed per household.



A full list of ingredients and spirits will be sent to participants one week prior to class. Students will also need to provide a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.  

Special Instructions:  

When registering for the class, please make sure to use the mailing and email addresses you'd like the Zoom meeting invitations sent to. You will receive links to the Zoom sessions by email sometime during the week prior to the class. If this class is a gift, please sign up with the recipient's mailing and email addresses or be prepared to forward the kit and all communications.
