This is an online class hosted on Zoom.  

Join celebrated cook and author Nevada Berg in making some of Norway’s most beloved pastries, wienerbrød. These flaky pastries are filled with things like fruit jams, custards, and almond paste, and come in a variety of shapes. We’ll make ours from scratch and learn various shaping techniques. Come ready to learn, eat, and have fun!

This Vesterheim cooking class is designed as a small-group cook-along, and we invite exchange between the instructor and students in order to build community around food traditions. In this same spirit of sharing, we invite the whole family to experience this collaborative cooking and learning process. Only one registration is needed per household.

Supplies: 

A full list of ingredients and spirits will be sent to participants one week prior to class. Students will also need to provide a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.

You will receive links to the Zoom sessions by email sometime during the week prior to the class.
