Whether your storytelling goal is to deepen your knowledge of Scandinavian folktales, polish your performance for the spotlight, or up your bedtime story skills, you'll experience the sense of grounding, connection, and delight that comes from listening to and telling stories together.
Scandinavia is rich with folktales of trolls and billy goats gruff, glass hills and flying ships, bewitched fiddles and enchanted princes.
In this four-session class you'll have a chance to practice the tools of this timeless art form, including vivid description, character voices, and artistic pacing as you explore your own personal style of story telling – without memorization! Instructor Rose Arrowsmith will share a selection of traditional oral stories both live and via recording, facilitate partner practice, and offer creative coaching.

Students will need to provide a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.
