2024-11-04 — Rosemaling Inspired by a Sunnmøre Artist (online)

OL.2024.Q4.105
$130.00

Schedule:

November 4 (10:00 am-Noon and 1:00-4:00 pm CT)

Instructor:

Patti Goke

Location:

This is an online class hosted on Zoom.

Not all areas of rosemaling have a regional style. A regional style is one that you look at and know the area it is from. Other styles are more specific to an artist from a region. The rosemaling that is found in Sunnmøre is more specific to an artist.

In this class we will paint a design based on a piece by an unknown painter that is in the Sunnmøre Museum. The design is based on a simple C scroll that is accompanied by many teardrops that are outlined. The design is simple yet interesting.

Level of Instruction:

This class is for all levels of painters. Beginners are especially welcome.
