OL.2024.Q4.102
$30.00

Schedule:

Starts November 1, available all month!

Instructor:

Patrice Johnson

Location:

This is an online class hosted on Zoom.

Looking for a fun way to explore Norwegian culture with your family on your own schedule? November’s Family Handcraft at Home is for you! You'll get to learn some simple recipes using brunost (brown cheese) and lingonberry jam!

Lingonberry jam is a staple of Northern European countries and brunost is regarded as one of Norway's most iconic foodstuffs, considered an important part of the country's cultural identity and heritage.

Using these two items as the basis of our recipes, join us for a culinary and cultural adventure.

The best thing about this class is that you can watch the video and open your kit of materials to explore these recipes whenever it is most convenient to you and your family members!

Supplies:

A list of ingredients will be sent to participants prior to class. The $30-per-family price covers the cost of a special adventure kit, which includes recipes and directions for downloading and using the Goosechase app (a free app that is downloadable on any iOS or Android device).

If you are registering for this class in a location outside the United States, you will need to provide your own supplies. Please contact folkartschool@vesterheim.org when you register for more information about what materials are required for this class.

Special Instructions:
