Created to celebrate the Vesterheim exhibition, Tattoo: Identity Through Ink, this design is adapted from Vesterheim artifact 1968.006.002.2. The rosemaling is based on a cabinet door painted by the well-known Norwegian-American rosemaler Per Lysne (1880-1947). You can put it around your wrist to look like a bracelet.
