Transformed by the Journey: 150 Years of Luther College in Word and Image by Wilfred F. Bunge

Transformed by the Journey was compiled and written by Wilfred F. Bunge, Luther professor emeritus of religion and classics, with assistance from Mary Hull Mohr, professor emerita of English, and Dale Nimrod, professor emeritus of chemistry.

The preface to "Transformed by the Journey" states that the sesquicentennial "provides a special opportunity to trace the journey of those 150 years, from the founding Norwegian immigrant situation of the mid-19th century through the complexities of the multicultural 21st century."

Richly illustrated with photographs from the college archives, the book draws on the Luther Sesquicentennial theme "Transformed by the Journey" to tell the story of the great transformation of the college, its mission, faculty, staff, students, alumni and greater community.
